• April 1, 2025 - the 2024 NFIRS data submission deadline to be included in 2024 NFIRS Statistics

May 1, 2025 - Onboarding with NERIS begins with NYS

January 1, 2026 - All Fire Incident data will be reported to NERIS

January 15, 2026 - Deadline for NFIRS data for 2025 incidents for inclusion into national statistics

January 31, 2026 - 2025 data edits/modifications must be completed in NFIRS

February 1, 2026 - NFIRS sunsets and will no longer be accessible
