The WorkPlace is your one-stop center for employment related services!  We offer:

  • Business Services to include;  posting job openings, job matches to our customer database, open recruitments/job fairs and human resources related guidance and assistance
  • Training services in the form of Classroom Training and On-the-Job Training
  • Special events including the Jefferson-Lewis County Job Fair and Career Jam!

Child Care Assistance Program Expansion

Did you know that if you're making less than 300% of the State Income Standard, you might be eligible for help to pay for childcare? 
As of June 2024, that amount for a family of 4 was $108,631.70!

Referrals

Stop into our offices Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or call 315-786-3651 in Jefferson County or 315-376-5800 in Lewis County for general information.

Services are provided in several ways:

  • Individual assistance
  • Workshops on a variety of employment related topics
  • Self-help in our Resource Room ~ computers with Microsoft Office software, printer/scanner/fax usage, and customer use telephone

Want to cut down on your wait time?  Download and fill out the Customer Registration and Eligibility Survey forms and bring them into either of our offices to start using our services!  The initial appointment does take about 45-60 minutes, so please arrive no later than 3:30 if you wish to register with us.  If you have a resume please bring that as well, preferably in digital format so that we can help make changes if needed.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
