Classroom training grants (CRT) are available for customers entering into an approved training program, provided you meet certain eligibility requirements and we having funding available.
Please note that if your parents or guardians claim you on their income taxes,
you must meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines to be eligible for funding.

We can help if you're pursuing education in an occupation that's in high demand in Jefferson & Lewis counties and meets the following requirements:

*CRT Funding can only be applied towards tuition & required fees. It does not apply to the cost of books, lodging, or transportation at this time.
Instructions
If you’re currently working you don’t need to complete the Work Search Record, but you will need to provide your last 2 pay stubs. If you’re not working the Work Search Record must be completed. All other forms need to be completed fully, as this is how we determine if you’re eligible for funding. If you have a question on a form, please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance!
To apply, please complete the forms above and submit via mail, e-mail, or drop-off according to the instructions in the CRT Steps Letter. The forms may also be submitted:
